Annotation:
The article focuses on the training of managerial personnel in the Interior Ministry of Russia. The author explores different perspectives on the concept of intelligentsia and discusses the unique aspects of managerial activities within the Ministry in light of Russia's changing economic and political landscape. Besides, the article provides insights into the socio-demographic profile of modern police officers engaged in intellectual work and management roles within the Ministry. Through an analysis of the higher academic courses offered at the Academy of the Interior Ministry, the author uncovers the specificities of leadership training for law enforcement agencies. Furthermore, the article gives careful consideration of the students' attitudes towards acquiring new skills and theoretical knowledge, while also assessing the practical applicability of the knowledge acquired by Ministry employees in the field of intellectual work. Ultimately, the article examines how these efforts contribute to the transformation of both the law enforcement system and Russian society as a whole.
