ONE MONTH OF THE INTERNET BLOG LIFE: TEXT SEMANTICS AND MANIPULATION OF THE READER’S CONSCIOUSNESS

The article deals with the one month text corpus of the Russian Internet blog. The volume of the analyzed corpus is more than 64000 words. The article presents the results of quantitative and statistical analysis of the corpus texts, identifies three conceptual areas related to the dominant concept “city”: “urban infrastructure”, “house”, the specific implementation of the concept of “city”. The analysis of the texts corpus allows to identify a network of basic concepts that form the main theme of the blog in a certain period of time, and to determine their relationships. The author makes an assumption about the methods of the background concepts “masking”. These concepts can’t be revealed in statistical analysis, but they are recognized by readers and, together with explicit concepts of the semantic network, affect readers and form public opinion.
