QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE KALMYK HEROIC EPOS «DJANGAR»: FREQUENCY OF LEMMAS

The article attempts to quantitatively analyze the language of the texts of the Kalmyk heroic epic "Djangar". With the help of the special linguistic program "TextAnalizer", a frequency list has been processed and created, in which 28 texts of the epic "Djangar" are explicated. The general list of lemmas of the body of texts of the epic "Djangar" is represented by 4445 units. The "tops" (50 units) of the most frequent lemmas are given, where their statistical in- dicators are indicated: rank (RANK), absolute frequency (Frequency). Frequency lists allow us to determine the boundaries of the lexical system of the language of the epic, which has its core and peripheral fields (ie, frequency and non-frequency elements).
