FUNDAMENTALS OF FIGHTING AGAINST VIOLENT CRIMINAL ACTS IN DETENTION FACILITIES

The article considers a solution to one of the permanent criminological problems — penitentiary violent criminal acts and their prevention. The highest latency level of the studied crimes, their increased danger and the consequences that disorganize the activities of institutions executing sentences in the form of incarceration, necessitate a detailed study for the development of an effective measures system against violent criminal acts committed by convicts in detention facilities. When studying the phenomenon of violence in detention facilities, it is important to use the comparative analytical methods of the crime rate in Russia’s various regional detention facilities. Moreover, a positive experience fighting against such criminal acts should be introduced in different countries.
