Annotation:
This article provides an overview and analysis of the Mongolian anthroponyms of the Zun-Khuatsay Clan of the Khori-Buryats. The material for the study was the revision inventories of 1830-1831, 1850. By comparing and analyzing the ethno-linguistic affiliation of male personal names of the Khori-Buryats, it was possible to identify their historical origin and trace the lexical transformation. At the same time, we observe that the Mongolian anthroponymic system was influenced by the «Russian» model of the formation of personal names. This phenomenon is probably due to the peculiarities of the census, when the scribe, for the sake of convenience of fixation, wrote down the surnames formed on behalf of the father according to the rules of the morphology of the Russian language. So, for example, instead of joining the Mongolian suffixes of possessiveness -in / -yn (Damba-in / Damb-yn) to the base of the name Damba. The surname Damba-ev is formed by adding the Russian suffix -ev
