Annotation:
Practice is an important component as a part of the professional training of future specialists (bachelor's and master's degrees). In the Federal State Budgetary Educational In- stitution of Higher Education – «Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University» – field training practices are mandatory in the natural sciences direction, including specialties such as «biol- ogy», «geography», «nature management», «geology», «recreation and sports tourism» and others. Field training practices aim to expand and deepen students' knowledge gained through theoretical study. They contribute to the formation of ecological worldviews and aesthetic education of students, provide a visual representation of natural phenomena and their interrelationships, teach students to register facts, analyze them, generalize what they have seen, and draw conclusions. During field training practices a special attention is paid to issues related to the interaction between humans and nature. The creation of the International Academic Center «Ardasan» allows for significant expan- sion and enrichment of the academic, methodological, and educational base of the field training practices in various specialties, as well as strengthening the interdisciplinary and comprehensive academic monitoring research. It provides an opportunity to attract foreign and nonresident students and postgraduates for the field training practices, as well as per- forming academic and research work at the Center. Organizing and conducting summer schools, seminars, conferences, educational and advisory courses based on the Center, with the involvement of the leading Russian and international scientists and specialists, will be- come an additional source of non-budgetary financial resources for the development of the university.
