Annotation:
The article considers educational process of Gomang faculty in largest monas- tery of Geluk tradition — Drepung monastery. Applicants can enroll to the monastery from the age of seven attending school in Gomang dratsang. The curriculum includes not only religious sciences but also general education. Drepung Gomang monastery’s aca- demic course consists of 5 main disciplines of Buddhist philosophy: Pramana, Prajnyaparamita, Madhyamaka, Abhidharma and Vinaya. These courses are studied for a period of 16 years.
