Annotation:
This publication discusses the feasibility of using online games in the teaching methodology of Russian language as foreign. The question is raised about the use of the game form of training as a motivating tool in teaching Russian language as foreign. Par- ticular attention is paid to the development of domestic researchers in the application of game techniques to improve the pedagogical process. The relevance of the study is due to the need for continuous improvement of teaching methods of Russian language as for- eign against the backdrop of a growing need for the study of the Russian language among foreign citizens around the world. A review of the LinGo online training resource has been performed as an example of the integration of specific pedagogical tools in the gameplay. The results of a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using online games in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language are presented. It is proved that the game, in particular — the online game can be used as an effective tool in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language, however, this technique has several disadvantages along with the advantages and requires serious lan- guage and methodological refinement.
