DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL INITIATIVITY OF STUDENT YOUTH AT THE MODERN UNIVERSITY

This article deals with the problem of developing social initiative of students in the educa- tional space of a modern University. The development of civic qualities of young people in the process of implementing various public initiatives is the subject of research by philoso- phers, sociologists, and psychologists. In this article, we will consider the positions of sci- entists and teachers and the possibility of forming this quality in students. The practical part of the study is considered on the example of the activities of the Project Office of the Buryat State University named after Dorzhi Banzarov, which was organized as a structural unit of the university, engaged in organizing the interaction of student com- munities, creating conditions for the development of the qualities of a citizen, and actively involving in planned project activities. It also describes the student communities and or- ganizations of Buryat State University, and their role in involvement in project activities aimed at the development of the university.
