COOPERATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN RUSSIA AND JAPAN: EXPERIENCE OF A REGIONAL UNIVERSITY

This article discusses the problem of developing cooperation between Ja- pan and Russia in the field of higher education. The origins of educational coopera- tion between two states are analyzed. The work examines the issues of training per- sonnel in the vocational education system, the possibilities and potential of interaction between Russian and Japanese universities, and studies the experience of the Buryat State University in developing relations with Japanese universities.
