The problem of aesthetic education of students remains relevant at all stages of the development of the Russian education system. The Federal Law "On Education in the Rus- sian Federation" emphasizes the need to educate and develop the aesthetic sense of students. The reforms of the education system pose a new ambitious task for schools: to educate a person — the member of society, whose main asset will be universal culture and universal human values. Aesthetic education is a purposeful process of developing personal aesthetic attitude to the world around us. This viewpoint was shaped with the advent of human socie- ty. In modern society, aesthetic education is carried out in the interests of the whole society.
