INTERNATIONALIZATION OF EDUCATION AS A LEADING TREND OF THE MODERN ERA

The article addresses the urgent problem of modern education — the interna- tionalization of higher education, which is the leading trend in its reform and develop- ment. This is not only an important manifestation of the essence of modern higher educa- tion, but also an adaptive characteristic that determines the development of modern socie- ty. We present an argument for the process under study, which acts as the main driving force and goal of the modernization of higher education and is not only a common choice and universal strategy for reforming and developing higher education in developed coun- tries, but also an objective need for developing countries to change the world status in higher education systems. With the growing globalization of the economy, internationali- zation is becoming an important direction for the development of higher education around the world. We have emphasized the importance of this process for universities of all countries, which should use these opportunities for the development of higher educa- tion and strive to explore the model of internationalization of higher education that is suitable for a certain country. The development trend of higher education should adhere to diversification and comprehensive development as far as possible, thereby truly con- tributing to the prosperity of international education systems.
