CURRENT TRENDS IN COOPERATION OF UNIVERSITIES IN CHINA AND RUSSIA

The article deals with the problem of internationalization of higher education, emphasizes the relevance of the search for new approaches and tools to organize interac- tion and cooperation between universities in the scientific and educational sphere. Based on the methods of theoretical and empirical research, we have considered the areas of interaction and cooperation in the higher education system of China and Russia. The article presents a comparative analysis of the internationalization of higher education in China and Russia, characterizes the areas of cooperation between Qiqihar University and Buryat State University, and determines the effectiveness of the chosen forms of in- teraction and cooperation in providing conditions for the successful development and im- plementation of joint programs and projects. We also have identified the main problems of interaction and cooperation between higher educational institutions of China and Russia, which determine the prospects for the devel- opment of the internationalization of higher education.
