Annotation:
One aspect of nurturing the values of teaching activity is the study of the phenomenon of dynasties. In 2007, a book called "Pedagogical Dynasties of Aga" was published in the Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug, which collected materials about famous teaching dynasties, including the information 82 teaching dynasties. The article analyzes the dynasties included in this book. The founders of 35 teaching dynasties and their close relatives fought valiantly on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, and their children and grandchildren successfully continued the peaceful profession of their parents. Within the composition of 26 dynasties in the Agin-Buryat Okrug, Honored Teachers of RSFSR and Honored Teachers of the Russian Federation worked and continue to work successfully. The Representatives of 7 teaching dynasties are doctors of science, and in 19 dynasties, candidates of science. Currently, this book (in two volumes) is being prepared for reissue. The first volume of the book will include supplemented and revised materials from the previous book. Materials on new dynasties — more than 60 — have also been collected, which will be included in the second volume of the book "Teaching Dynasties of Aga."
