This article analyzes the management of innovation processes in the regional system of se c- ondary education in the framework of the project of modernization of education. The author of the basic mechanisms and forms of management of innovative processes in the educa- tional system in the region, as well as the main results of the implementation of complex projects of modernization of education in the 2007 — 2009 years in the Republic of Burya- tia.

The author also discusses some issues of formation of innovative mechanisms for the devel- opment of education and management of innovative processes at the regional level. The ar- ticle presents the main results of the implementation of innovative technologies in the man- agement of the system of secondary education of the Republic of Buryatia in the moderniza- tion. Within the framework of the Integrated Project of modernization of education by the author consider a draft comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of the regional educa- tion system.
