Annotation:
Land and topsoil, being an integral part of the entire ecological system of
our planet, are inextricably linked with its other parts: waters, forests, flora and fauna,
minerals and other reserves of the Earth's depths. Without land and soil, it is practically
impossible to use other natural resources. That is why land protection is considered as
preservation of the fabric of life and activities of the population, and creation of the
conditions for sustainable development of society. Consequently, all categories of land,
both agricultural and non-agricultural, are subject to protection. The goals of land protection involve the prevention and elimination of pollution, depletion, degradation,
spoilage, destruction of land and soil and other negative impact on land and soil, as
well as the ensuring the rational use of land.
