DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN’S CRITICAL THINKING BASED ON USE OF THE «BAIKAL BOX» TOOLKIT

The article deals with the use of technology for the development of critical thinking through reading and writing in the educational process of the school. The au- thors highlighted the peculiarities of using this technology in lessons and out-of-hours activities, showed the importance of using modern educational technologies for the teacher and student. A special emphasis in the article is placed on the development of critical thinking among schoolchildren based on the use of the Baikal Sunduchok UMK. Specific techniques for involving schoolchildren in problematic situations, as well as re- flexion options, are given.
