THE MEANING CONCEPT IN THE TRADITION OF THE PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCHES

The article deals with the concept of «meaning» in different philosophical researches in the second part of XIX–XX centuries. The appeal to this phenomenon is explained by the necessity of humanitarization of education and strengthening its cultural, valuable and personally-meaningful components together with knowledge. Different aspects of the meaning are revealed in the unity of its ontological, gnosiological and axiological descrip- tions. The integrative characteristic of the meaning and its correlation with objectively given content and the subject’s concern to everything around is shown here. The meaning is determined as an aim, as the result of knowledge, as a value. The connection between the meaning and the process of understanding is shown in the article .It is directed at the cognition of the world of a person’s nature, its culture and inner development. The prob- lem of the meaning is inseparable with the aspect of the highest value of human being. It is connected with the change from impersonal meanings to personal ones.
