Annotation:
The article is devoted to the problem of adapting the educational system of the People’s Republic of China to the conditions of implementing new educa- tional programs in the context of the 2020 pandemic. The author describes her own experience and focuses on the responding mechanisms of Chinese education system to the challenges associated with the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection. This is the first attempt to analyze the current situation and methods used for adap- tation of students, teachers, and educational institutions management.
